Karoline von Günderode’s sonnet “Der Kuß im Traume” [The Kiss in the Dream] is placed in relation to photographs taken of a television screen, showing kissing scenes from Hollywood movies. The photographs are printed in various shades of red, violet, orange and hot pink. Binding the full-page printed sheets into layers creates double-page spreads with two different image motifs. In other words, new pairings and color combinations are created. The established sonnet form is broken up typographically; the text dissolves into word and sentence fragments and is distributed across every page of the book.
